Michelle Chun

OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO

Dr. Michelle Chun is a residency-trained optometrist and co-founding partner of One EyeCare. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Genetics at the University of British Columbia, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. At UC Berkeley finished Magna Cum Laude as Co-Valedictorian after spending all four years as class president.

While at UC Berkeley, Dr. Chun received:

  • Dean’s Department Award (2012, 2013, 2014)
  • International Student Departmental Award (2012, 2013, 2014)
  • Rupert E. Flower Scholarship Fund (2013)

Dr. Chun completed her residency in Primary Care and Contact Lenses while at UC Berkeley. She has completed several externships as part of her eye care training, including at Alameda County Medical Center, Veteran Affairs – Central Valley Health Care System, Veteran Affairs – San Francisco, Castle Family Health Center, Meredith Morgan Eye Center, and Tang Eye Center.

Dr. Chun is particularly passionate about customizing dry eye treatments for her patients and helping them see comfortably. This desire to help people see with comfort includes fitting specialty contact lenses.

When it comes to her practice, Dr. Chun is most fulfilled by serving families in our community while providing them with the opportunity to see clearly and leave each day with happier eyes.

Outside of the eye care world, Dr. Chun loves learning languages, traveling, eating sushi, and spending time with her husband, three children, and french bulldog.

Angela Tsay

O.D.

Dr. Angela Tsay graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in General Biology in 2010. Afterward, she attended the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, graduating in 2015. During her time at UC Berkeley, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and received the Dean’s Departmental Award during all four years of her studies.

Dr. Tsay completed externships at Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care San Jose Outpatient Clinic, Veterans Affairs Hillsboro Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, Veterans Affairs Portland Medical Center – Vancouver Division, Alameda County Medical Center Highland Hospital, Meredith Morgan Eye Center and Tang Eye Center.

Dr. Tsay is especially interested in myopia management and finding different methods that work for specific patients. She also enjoys providing patients with a manageable approach to overcoming dry eye disease.

Dr. Tsay’s passion for creating genuine connections with her patients is evident. She uses the relationships she builds with patients and their families to make a lasting impact on their eye health and vision to meet their needs.

Outside the practice, Dr. Tsay enjoys tennis, yoga, snowboarding, board games, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Charlie and Lexi.

Jennifer Lee Wu

M.D.

Dr. Jennifer Lee Wu is a graduate of the Yale University School of Medicine where she participated as a Farr Research Scholar before graduating in 2009. Before going to school for medicine she graduated from Yale College in 2005 where she received the Edgar Boell Prize for Best Senior Thesis in the Health Sciences.

In 2013, Dr. Wu completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Doheny Eye Institute/LAC-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. In 2014, she completed her fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the same institution.

Dr. Wu is a board-certified and cornea fellowship-trained eye surgeon. Prior to private practice, she was an assistant clinical professor at the Dean McGee Eye Institute-University of Oklahoma, where she trained resident and fellow surgeons, and conducted clinical research.

Dr. Wu is particularly interested in corneal disease management, laser refractive surgeries like LASIK, PRK, and SMILE, and managing auto-immune diseases of the eye. In her work, Dr. Wu is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care to those suffering from chronic conditions like dry eye disease and keratoconus.

Outside the practice, Dr. Wu is an avid skier and tennis player. She also enjoys international travel while spending time with her husband and daughter.

Kevin Ku

Optician

Kevin Ku is our dedicated optician here at One EyeCare, helping patients find frames and lenses to suit their unique vision needs. With more than a decade of experience in the eye care industry, Kevin is a valued member of our team.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys basketball, billiards, tennis, video games, cars, and is a genuine verifiable foodie.
